VP, Head of Product

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP, Head of Product in the United States.

This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and executing the product vision for a high-profile mobile gaming project, working closely with internal teams and an external development partner. You will drive product strategy, live operations, and monetization, ensuring that the game delivers exceptional player experiences while achieving business objectives. The role requires building and leading a small, elite team of product managers and analysts, guiding cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, and marketing. Success in this position will be measured by the impact on product performance, revenue, and player engagement. The role offers an exciting opportunity to shape a new gaming IP in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with global collaboration.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead product strategy and roadmap development using deep market, player, and competitive insights
  • Own live operations, monetization strategies, and product performance, driving measurable results
  • Build and manage a small, high-performing team of product managers and analysts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective publishing, design, and development alignment
  • Act as the product thought leader within the organization, integrating feedback and championing the product vision
  • Drive transformational impact on revenue and player engagement through data-informed decisions and operational excellence
  • Partner with leadership to foster a cohesive team culture across different geographies and cultures

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of mobile gaming product leadership experience
  • Proven success in leveraging market and player insights to deliver high-performing games
  • Track record of driving live operations and monetization strategies with measurable outcomes
  • Experience collaborating with external development partners and building trust across cultures
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence across disciplines with high emotional and business intelligence
  • Bi-lingual and bi-cultural capabilities, particularly Mandarin and English, is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
