Position Summary:
This nurse's primary role will be working in the Vascular Care Unit (VCU). The VCU provides pre- and post-care for patients having cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology and interventional radiology procedures and provides procedural sedation for some bedside procedures. Additionally, the nurse will cross-train to care for patients having ultrasound and CT procedures. A strong nursing background in ICU, ED, telemetry or previous similar position is required. ACLS and BLS are required. Must be able to take call, approximately every 6th weekend with a one-hour response time.

Position Requirements:
Current IL RN Licensure and CPR required. ACLS required in all Critical Care/ER areas. Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience required. BSN degree, if not already obtained, required within 5 years of hire.
