Due to continual growth we are looking to expand our amazing team and have the opportunity for an experienced, compassionate and engaging Female Disability Support Worker to join us on a permanent part time basis!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and supporting with group activities and community outings
  • Providing in-home and community-based respite support
  • Supporting participants within our respite house facility
  • Assisting with personal care, light domestic duties, meal preparation, and health & wellbeing activities
  • Encouraging independence and development of life skills
  • Delivering engaging, structured, and meaningful support, particularly in group environments
  • Actively participating in activities, including weekly swimming sessions (must be comfortable in the pool)

About you:

  • Experienced Female Support Worker (essential)
  • Comfortable and confident in the water – happy to participate in regular swimming activities
  • Demonstrated ability to engage participants and take initiative
  • Patient, energetic, and able to support someone who thrives on active, hands-on engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Current and clear Working with Children Check
  • Qualifications or experience highly desirable.
