We are seeking a Data Analyst to drive insights and improve operational performance across business-critical functions. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets, design dashboards, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, identify emerging trends, and optimize operational processes. Your contributions will directly influence the operational performance of finance, fraud, and customer support teams, enabling measurable business impact.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Core Services and other operational teams, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Design and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reports to provide actionable insights for risk, fraud, funding, and support operations.
- Analyze large, complex datasets and develop scalable models to support reporting, analytics, and ML initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional projects involving analysts, engineers, and product teams to build data pipelines and automate workflows.
- Develop and automate reporting of key performance indicators across core services.
- Translate insights from experimentation and hypothesis testing into actionable business decisions.
- Write high-quality code for data pipelines and dashboards, following best practices in software engineering.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in Fintech or fast-paced operational environments.
- Strong expertise in SQL and hands-on experience in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience building and managing data pipelines, including workflow orchestration tools.
- Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) to structure and model datasets for reporting.
- Ability to create intuitive dashboards and visualizations to clearly communicate complex insights.
- Experience collaborating with teams across fraud, funding, finance, and customer support operations.
- Strong communication skills to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Analytics, Software Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and based in Brazil, Canada, or the US.
