Sr Analyst Product Management

This role offers the opportunity to directly influence product strategy and profitability across assigned lines of business. You will combine analytical expertise with strategic insight to monitor product performance, identify growth opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions. The position requires leading projects end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior analysts to build a high-performing product management function. You will leverage data from multiple sources to drive informed decisions, test and optimize product models, and present findings to key stakeholders. This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on business outcomes, process improvement, and innovative approaches to product success.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead monitoring, auditing, and analysis of product performance to identify complex issues, recognize opportunities, and implement strategies that drive profitability and growth
  • Manage projects independently from planning through execution, collaborating with functional teams and providing coaching to junior analysts
  • Conduct research to improve product offerings and perform ad hoc analyses, including testing new rating models for accuracy, loss ratio improvement, and segmentation
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate insights, recommend actions, and support management decision-making
  • Support forecasting, business plan formation, and performance trend analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Act as a primary contact for complex reporting needs, and participate in process improvements and tool development for management use
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Math/Actuarial Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or analytical roles in insurance, financial services, consulting, or a related industry
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including product, pricing, underwriting, and regulatory frameworks (preferred)
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, or equivalent
  • Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting complex insights to stakeholders
  • Proven ability to take initiative, drive projects to completion independently, and mentor junior team members
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SQL
