About This Position
Reader Precision Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Administrator. This full-time position is based in Elkhorn, WI at our Precision Plus location. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all transactions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage accounts receivable processes including billing, cash application, credit memos, and account tracking, as well as client and vendor outreach for payment follow-up, account inquiries, and routine communication.
- Support daily accounting operations and maintain accuracy of the general ledger.
- Record and verify financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, and invoicing.
- Prepare and maintain recurring reports & reconciliations.
- Complete monthly close activities, including bank and account reconciliations.
- Process banking and treasury transactions such as ACH transactions.
- Support compliance and reporting requirements, including 1099s, audits, and year-end close.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (banks, vendors, customers) to support operations.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and tracking of key deadlines.
- Process back-up support to accounts payable, as needed
- Assist with payroll support and other cross-functional or administrative tasks as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years in an accounting or finance role. Candidates with a combination of education and experience that equates to the required knowledge and skills may also be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position with core hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. This individual should be flexible to work overtime as needed and based on workload (for example: month end).

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment as needed to perform assigned duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of an office. Incumbents may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, fine motor skills, and stand, walk, reach, and/or bend. May occasionally lift up to twenty-five pounds.
