Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Operations, Technical Training, the Training & Development Manager leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs across aseptic food manufacturing facilities. This role drives alignment with company strategy, strengthens workforce capabilities, and ensures sustainable performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development across South Carolina and Wisconsin locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute training programs across food, bottle, and TetraPak production lines
- Partner with plant leadership to align training with operational goals
- Develop and mentor trainers; build future training leaders
- Analyze data to identify skill gaps and improve training effectiveness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance
- Maintain training systems, documentation, and standard work processes
- Evaluate training impact through feedback and performance metrics
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and career development programs
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GFSI, safety, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate across sites to share best practices and strengthen engagement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience (food or aseptic preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to travel 25–40% to company locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years manufacturing related experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Experienced with Excel, Microsoft Applications, POKA, Power Automate, Redzone, & SharePoint.
- This role serves a diverse community, including Spanish-speaking populations; Spanish fluency is a plus.
