Position Summary

Advanced EV is seeking a detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive Parts Coordinator to support our production and service operations. In this critical role, you will manage parts inventory, coordinate distribution, verify quality, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure technicians and departments receive the components they need—on time and in full. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, supply chain awareness, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
  • Order parts, batteries, paint, tools, and other necessary supplies (including AEV parts sourced internationally).
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and conduct regular audits to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Complete and submit warranty claims accurately and promptly.
Distribution Coordination
  • Coordinate the distribution of parts to technicians and departments based on priority and availability.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, receipts, and part distribution.
Verification & Quality Control
  • Identify and verify parts based on technical specifications and product requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on incoming parts and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and discrepancies with suppliers.
Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with external dealers/customers, technicians and department leads to understand parts needs and provide timely support.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to parts availability, quality, or distribution and help implement process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively to provide updates, resolve concerns, and support smooth operations.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Send required PDF documents and reports to the controller.
  • Confirm and document items received.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts on batteries.
Warehouse Organization
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
QualificationsRequired
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or parts coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow processes, maintain documentation, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory systems and documentation.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred
  • Experience in automotive, powersports, equipment parts, or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software.
  • Knowledge of mechanical or electrical components.
  • Military experience in logistics, supply, equipment management, or maintenance (preferred but not required).
