Position Title: Intern - Business Analytics

Description:
MidAmerican Energy Company is seeking a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, business analytics, management information systems, computer science, data analytics, or a related field graduating later than August 2026. The Business Analyst Intern will support IT and Change Management initiatives through business process analysis, development and refinement of Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and by partnering with business subject matter experts to support technical enablement needs. The role may also support responsible use of AI capabilities, including Copilot usage, agent or automation development. Other opportunities may include leveraging HTML and analytics skills to enhance Oracle Guided Learning content, assess active guided learning assets, and identify opportunities to improve system adoption through datainformed insights.

Interns will be exposed to a variety of projects and activities that occur within the energy industry and will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned through college to realworld business and technology needs.

The position is temporary, nonexempt, and fulltime/hourly through the summer.

Qualifications

Must be a current college student, sophomore status or higher, pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, business analytics, management information systems, computer science, data analytics, or a related field.

Must be available to work May-August 2026.

Must be able to operate electronic systems and databases to extract, sort, and analyze data.
