In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust network infrastructures that support globally distributed platforms and users. - Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure across both new and existing environments, ensuring stability and scalability
- Monitor network performance using tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, and PRTG, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Manage incidents and service requests in line with SLA requirements, coordinating with vendors and service providers when necessary
- Maintain accurate network documentation and inventory while automating routine operational processes
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime
- Provide on-call support and respond promptly to critical alerts and incidents
- Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise and data center technologies, including Catalyst, Nexus, and Firepower
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as VXLAN EVPN, BGP, OSPF, STP (MSTP/RSTP), GRE, L2TP, IPsec, LACP, and vPC
- Familiarity with network services in environments like Linux, Hyper-V, and VMware
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and Ansible
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG, NetBox)
- Practical experience using troubleshooting tools like tcpdump, Wireshark, iPerf, traceroute, and nmap
- Solid understanding of network security fundamentals, including ACLs, NAT, segmentation, firewall policies, and IDS/IPS basics
- Ability to create and maintain detailed network documentation, including L2/L3 diagrams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a collaborative environment
