Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Shift: 4/4 Nights

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Our Maintenance Mechanic Performs routine, emergency and preventive maintenance work on office and plant equipment, machines, and building facilities.
Requirements:

Repair and service all site equipment, buildings, and furnishings.

Communicate issues with the Maintenance team verbally and through email.

Check and repair critical equipment.

Check cooling towers, mills, chillers, air compressor, boiler, etc.

Preventative Maintenance through inspection, lubrication, filter replacement, cleaning etc

Must be able to complete an OSHA Respiratory Fit Test

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma/GED

Knowledge of pipe fitting, electrical wiring, and general mechanics

Must be capable of lifting up to 55 lbs. and stand on feet for long periods of time

Must be familiar and thoroughly experienced in all facets of maintenance:

• Mechanical: Pumps (positive displacement and centrifugal), drives (gearbox, belt, chain, hydraulic, couplings, motor-electric, motors-air, bearings, shafts, nuts, bolts, taps, and dies.
• Electrical: High voltage 460 volt 3 phase, motor controls, low voltage (120V power and control wiring), AC and DC systems. Computer-controlled systems.
• Utilities: Piping (water, air, and steam) Boilers - understand Steam condensate system - tracing, coils, traps, and pumps. Air Compressor system - including filters, regulators, dryers, and lubricators. HVAC - air handling, blowers, dust collectors.
• Vehicles: Lift trucks - electric EE rated, battery, and hydraulics.
