In this role, you will lead high-profile, enterprise-scale programs, serving as the primary delivery owner responsible for driving proof-of-concept initiatives to full program awards. You will manage cross-functional teams, define program roadmaps, and ensure measurable outcomes while building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders. The position offers significant influence over program strategy, governance, and execution in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will work closely with internal leadership and external clients, translating business requirements into actionable delivery plans and risk-mitigated strategies. This role is ideal for a seasoned program manager with federal or large enterprise experience who thrives in high-impact, mission-critical engagements.
- Lead end-to-end program execution, serving as the day-to-day and executive-facing program owner for high-visibility proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Define program roadmaps, translate requirements into actionable plans, and ensure milestones, deliverables, and success criteria are met on time and within scope.
- Build and maintain governance structures, including steering committees, status reporting cadences, RAID logs, and escalation protocols.
- Manage cross-functional delivery teams, including project managers, implementation consultants, technical architects, and integration specialists; set expectations, resolve conflicts, and coach team members.
- Engage and build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and client representatives, ensuring alignment, transparency, and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to pursuit strategies, RFP responses, and competitive presentations, connecting program outcomes to broader organizational objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand scope, demonstrate platform capabilities, and position the organization as a preferred partner for long-term engagements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of program management experience, including 5+ years leading large-scale enterprise software implementations.
- Proven experience managing federal, state, or government health programs, with familiarity in Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, CMS, or equivalent frameworks.
- Demonstrated success leading proof-of-concept initiatives and RFP pursuits resulting in full contract awards.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and consultative skills.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and multi-stakeholder organizations.
- Preferred: experience with healthcare payer platforms, federal procurement processes (FAR/DFAR), and transitioning POC engagements to full program awards.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across distributed teams and time zones.
