Utility Housekeeping Aide at Crestline Hotels and Resorts – Memphis, Tennessee

Located in the heart of downtown Memphis, just steps from famous Beale Street, Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis @ Beale Street is known for its friendly service, clean accommodations, and welcoming atmosphere. Our Housekeeping team plays a major role in delivering the comfort and cleanliness our guests expect.

We are looking for a dependable Housekeeping Aide / Utility Worker to support daily operations and help keep our hotel running smoothly.

This is a Full-Time position paying $15.00 / hour. Hours are primarily mid and evening shifts.

Overview:

The Housekeeping Aide – Utility assists with the housekeeping side of the room preventative maintenance program ensuring the hotel's standards of cleanliness. He/she will partner with the engineering team to assist in the hotel's preventative maintenance.

Housekeeping Supervisor – Housekeeping Manager – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager – General Manager – Area Vice President of Operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Must display willingness to work with others.
• Clean front and back of entry door, door frame, and threshold
• Clean welcome light
• Clean all bathroom surfaces, including shower curtains or glass doors
• Clean and touch-up all furniture
• Vacuum under furniture, carpet edges and drapes
• Clean inside of windows(s), clean outside, if applicable. Clean windowsills and frames
• Clean drapes/curtains and sheers (as needed)
• Clean all air vents, including HVAC filters
• Dust entire room and ceiling, remove cobwebs
• Clean all walls, wall covering, artwork, mirrors, baseboards
• Clean all bedding (pads, blankets, bedspreads, throws, pillows, shams, pillow protectors, bed skirt)
• Perform a thorough inspection of the mattress, box spring, bed frame, and headboard
• Flip and rotate mattresses as per manufacturer's instructions
• Shampoo all upholstery
• Clean light fixtures in guestroom and bathrooms
• Clean refrigerator (if applicable)
• Clean and inspect sofa bed and sofa bed frame (if applicable)
• Clean carpets as required.
• Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools, and equipment

Education and Experience:

• Some high school education preferred.
• No prior experience required.
