Quick Hands Logistics/QHL Staffing – Business Development Executive:
The general goal for the Business Development Executive is to market services from the company to attain new clientele by offering 3rd party freight container offloading and yard hostling services (Quick Hands Logistics), along with temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct placement services (QHL Staffing).
Responsibilities Include:
• TRUE HUNTER ROLE: Research and follow new/referred leads to acquire new business, primarily through door-to-door prospecting in the warehousing industry.
• Responsible for familiarizing themselves with the services provided.
• Create presentations highlighting QHL Staffing and Quick Hands Logistics services for prospects.
• Successfully close sales.
• Work toward exceeding quotas set by Manager.
• Planning and organizing daily work schedule for field visits to new prospects.
• Focus sales efforts by studying existing trends and remain updated on competition.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information.
• Responsible for coordinating site visits as well as ensuring reliable transportation for oneself.
• Tracking mileage and submitting mileage reimbursements reports on time.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Outside Sales/Field Sales (door to door/B2B).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the light industrial industry.
• Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Excellent time management - must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities at once.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual (Preferred) – English and Spanish.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Able to bend, lift, stoop, crawl, sitting and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity, if necessary.
• Ability to hear and understand audible signals and instructions in a noisy environment.
• Good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision.
• Exposure to loud noises and vibration.
• Clear verbal and nonverbal communication abilities to follow instructions, collaborate with team members, and report any safety concerns promptly.
• Ability to move through warehouse/offices safely.
Territory:
• Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Pay & Benefits:
• Pay: $25-$30 an hour plus UNLIMITED COMMISSION!
