About This Position
Assists all production, service, and administrative personnel; maintains high efficiency in day-to-day operations and ensures the highest level of customer service and quality are being met. Provides support to the sales and purchasing agents. Must be able to pass criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana. Base pay is $18 - $20/hr.
Education/Experience:
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience ordering, and pulling the correct inventory parts. Excellent computer skills are a must, and the ability to safely operate a forklift and various equipment for loading/unloading stock from delivery trucks or storage areas is also required. Minimum of 1 year of experience pulling automotive parts.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Michigan driver's license; Forklift permit (will train)

Requirements:Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answering incoming phone calls to Parts Dept.
- Taking customer orders by phone, in person, or email
- Calling/emailing vendors
- Receive and check-in daily truck/UPS shipments
- Bin location management
- Stocking of shelves
- Stock rotation
- Kitting of inventory items for builds and preps
- Pull inventory for assembly builds/cart builds
- Inventory location transfers; Pull transfers for other locations
- Pull inventory for sales orders and package for shipping
- Proficient computer knowledge including Excel, UPS Worldship, SAP, Outlook, MS Teams
- Yard management
- Assembling of small build items such as hose reel rubbers, fender clips, etc.
- Maintain a clean working environment; assist with shop cleaning, emptying of trash cans, organization, etc.
- Ability to perform mathematical computations accurately
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
- Participation in annual fiscal-year inventory process
