Job OverviewWe are looking for a Superintendent / Project Manager who can take real ownership of remodeling projects and keep them moving without a bunch of hand-holding. This is a key field leadership role for someone who knows construction deeply, can think ahead, and can keep jobs organized, clients informed, and crews productive.
Most of our work is full-house remodels, usually in the $100,000$200,000 range, with the occasional smaller project mixed in. Your day would be split between site visits and office time for planning, scheduling, scopes, and materials ordering. You would be the person making sure details do not get missed and small issues do not turn into expensive ones.
This role is built for someone who wants responsibility and can handle it. We are not looking for a clipboard carrier. We are looking for someone who can spot problems early, make judgment calls, communicate clearly, and own the outcome.
Who We AreWe are a small Fort Worth remodeling company with a tight team and a very real-world culture. Almost all of our work is in Tarrant County, especially Northeast Tarrant, Burleson/Mansfield, and Azle/Eagle Mountain Lake, so being local matters. People always say the drive is fine in the interview. Then the drive becomes a problem. We would rather skip that part.
This is a company where people wear multiple hats and where good people get room to grow. The ownership team is hands-on. The husband/wife team drives the business, with the wife leading the interior design side. The culture is candid, hard-working, and relaxed in the ways that matter. Your dog is welcome at the office if he/she is not annoying. If you need time off to handle personal stuff, were fine with that. Nobody is obsessed with punching a timeclock, and adults here are trusted to handle their business and get work done.
What Youll Be DoingOversee remodel crews and specialty subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and up to standard.
Handle materials ordering, crew scheduling, and day-to-day field coordination.
Serve as the point person between the company and the client throughout the job.
Write scopes of work, update schedules in the CRM, and keep project details organized.
Catch issues early and solve problems before they get bigger, costlier, or harder to explain later.
Help create a smoother, more scalable operation as the company continues to grow.
Strong construction knowledge, ideally with a hands-on background.
Strong client-management skills and the ability to walk homeowners through schedule, planning, and next steps.
Strong problem-solving ability, especially when conditions change or the unexpected shows up.
Comfort with spreadsheets, written scopes, and schedule management.
A truck is preferred for carrying materials; mileage is paid, and a shared company truck is available when needed.
Experience with new-home construction is a plus, since the company would like to build spec homes as capacity allows.
You should be based in Tarrant County or very nearby.
Base salary around $70,000 with bonus upside tied to project profitability.
Paid vacation, paid holidays, and usually a MondayFriday schedule with rare weekend work.
Health, dental, and vision insurance available.
A chance to become a major player in a growing company that wants to expand from remodeling into spec homes and larger opportunities.
