This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of high-profile, large-scale conferences and exhibitions for globally recognized brands across the technology and lifestyle sectors. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will oversee end-to-end event execution with a strong focus on logistics, venue operations, and attendee experience. The position requires a hands-on leader who thrives under pressure, manages complexity with confidence, and can coordinate large cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event professional looking to make a significant impact while working on dynamic international projects with extensive travel opportunities.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and onsite execution of large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and live events with attendance ranging from 5,000 to 13,000 participants.
  • Oversee venue operations, event logistics, production, creative, and technical workstreams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships and delivering high-quality customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage complex event budgets up to $15M, including forecasting, reporting, financial tracking, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, trackers, operational plans, and client-facing materials.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate large project teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance across all stages of delivery.
  • Manage external vendors and partners to ensure alignment, operational efficiency, and successful execution onsite.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges in real time during live events while maintaining high standards of execution and professionalism.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and provide data-driven recommendations to support continuous improvement and future event success.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience managing complex large-scale events in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Strong expertise in event logistics, venue management, and conference/exhibition operations for events with thousands of attendees.
  • Previous experience working within an event agency environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar budgets while ensuring financial accountability and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and motivating large cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience partnering closely with creative, technical, and production teams on large-scale event builds.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills with the ability to anticipate needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and general project management technologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and work across multiple time zones as required.
  • Ability to work remotely from a quiet home office environment with reliable high-speed internet connectivity.
