This role focuses on building, configuring, and maintaining client-facing healthcare applications within a highly regulated and agile environment. The Software Engineer will contribute to the delivery of scalable web applications while ensuring adherence to Medical, Legal, and Regulatory guidelines. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, infrastructure, and global stakeholders, to support application deployments and enhancements. It also plays a key role in ensuring system stability through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, emphasizing continuous integration, automation, and high-quality engineering practices. - Configure and update client-facing applications based on business requirements while ensuring compliance with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory guidelines.
- Support day-to-day application operations, including troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating resolution or escalation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and cross-team coordination with global stakeholders.
- Assist in deploying software releases across testing and production environments, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption.
- Set up and maintain environments for new implementations and support Single Sign-On integrations.
- Contribute to documentation efforts, including standard operating procedures and reusable knowledge base articles.
- Work with development teams to support unit testing, regression testing, and performance tracking using key engineering metrics.
- Engage in configuration management and change control processes using tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in application development, software engineering, or application support.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, Windows environments, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Solid understanding of Git fundamentals and version control workflows.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with web application configuration, templating, and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server, or similar tools is highly desirable.
- Understanding of healthcare systems, market access, or related domains is an advantage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (such as Azure) and enterprise application architecture is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across distributed teams.
