Job Description

Vice President of Product and Technology PMO

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vice President of Product and Technology PMO in the United States.

This senior leadership role sits at the center of product and technology execution, ensuring that strategic vision is translated into disciplined delivery across a complex, fast-scaling SaaS organization. You will lead the PMO function as a strategic driver of portfolio alignment, planning, and execution excellence across R&D. Acting as a key partner to executive leadership, you will shape how priorities are defined, sequenced, and delivered across product, engineering, platform, and UX teams. The role requires a strong blend of operational rigor and strategic influence, enabling predictable delivery while supporting innovation at scale. You will also serve as a critical connector between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring transparency, accountability, and clarity across all major initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is energized by building scalable operating models.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will define and lead the operating model that governs how product and technology initiatives are planned, prioritized, and delivered across the organization:

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end Product & Technology PMO operating model, including strategic planning, quarterly execution, and release governance.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape priorities, manage trade-offs, and align investments with business and customer outcomes.
  • Establish portfolio management frameworks that ensure visibility into capacity, sequencing, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments.
  • Drive disciplined execution across large-scale initiatives such as product launches, platform modernization, and enterprise transformation programs.
  • Translate complex delivery and portfolio data into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
  • Define and enforce delivery standards, governance practices, and execution cadences across product and engineering teams.
  • Build and scale a high-performing PMO organization focused on accountability, strategic influence, and operational excellence.
  • Introduce modern tools, metrics, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve planning, forecasting, and execution visibility.
Requirements

This role requires deep experience in technology leadership, portfolio management, and scaling delivery organizations in high-growth SaaS environments:

  • 12+ years of experience in program management, R&D operations, or product/technology leadership within SaaS or platform companies.
  • 5+ years leading a global PMO, technical program management function, or equivalent enterprise operations team.
  • Proven success in evolving organizations from reactive delivery models to proactive, portfolio-driven execution systems.
  • Strong technical fluency with the ability to engage in architecture discussions and understand system-level trade-offs.
  • Deep understanding of Agile, Lean, or hybrid product development methodologies.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership presence with a data-driven, structured, and outcome-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to challenge priorities constructively while maintaining strong alignment with business goals.
  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred, along with certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent (nice to have).
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range in the U.S.: $247,400 – $321,900 annually
  • Annual discretionary bonus
  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) granted at hire
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible remote work within the country of employment
  • Up to 30% travel for collaboration and business engagement
  • Strong focus on professional development and leadership growth
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture
