This role is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced wireless networking professional to lead the design, optimization, and migration of enterprise-scale Wi-Fi networks across complex healthcare environments. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable, high-performance wireless coverage that supports critical clinical and operational workflows in mission-driven settings. The position involves end-to-end ownership of RF design projects, including onsite surveys, predictive modeling, validation, and large-scale access point migrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and interference-free wireless infrastructures across multiple sites. The environment is highly technical, fast-paced, and focused on innovation, precision engineering, and real-world impact. This fully remote role also includes significant travel, offering exposure to diverse enterprise environments while working on advanced wireless technologies.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end RF design, planning, and optimization of enterprise wireless networks, ensuring high performance, coverage, and capacity across complex healthcare environments.
  • Conduct onsite wireless RF surveys to evaluate signal coverage, interference, capacity, and overall network health.
  • Develop and refine predictive and hybrid RF models, including access point placement, channel planning, and power configuration, supported by heatmaps and design documentation.
  • Plan and validate wireless network requirements by analyzing site layouts, floor plans, existing infrastructure, and user/device needs.
  • Support and coordinate large-scale AP migration initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions, validating configurations, and minimizing service disruption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless performance issues across multi-site enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure alignment between design standards and deployment execution.
  • Recommend RF tuning adjustments and architectural improvements to enhance reliability and reduce interference.
  • Maintain documentation and design artifacts to support implementation and ongoing network optimization efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise wireless networks.
  • Proven expertise in large-scale RF design projects, particularly in high-density or multi-site environments such as hospitals or complex facilities.
  • Strong proficiency with wireless design and survey tools such as Ekahau, AirMagnet, Cisco DNA Center, or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of RF principles, Wi-Fi standards, and enterprise network architecture.
  • Experience with access point migrations, wireless optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex wireless issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 55% of the time for onsite work and surveys.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary up to $150,000 depending on experience.
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Paid travel opportunities covering approximately 55% of the role.
  • Flexible work arrangements with opportunities for international remote work (up to 30 days per year).
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Access to professional development programs and career advancement opportunities.
  • Exposure to large-scale, enterprise-grade wireless infrastructure projects.
  • Inclusive and collaborative work culture focused on innovation and growth.
  • Opportunity to work with advanced networking technologies in critical healthcare environments.
  • Strong emphasis on work-life balance and meaningful career development.
