This role offers the opportunity to design and build critical software systems that support large-scale manufacturing and operations. You will take ownership of key features across warehouse management, procurement, and operational workflows, working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The position involves designing APIs, building integrations, and delivering end-to-end solutions that directly enable operational efficiency and scalability. You will collaborate with domain experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams while navigating changing requirements and ambiguity. - Design, build, test, deploy, and operate software features end-to-end
- Write clean, maintainable Python and React code, participating in peer code reviews
- Build APIs and integrations between systems, including ERP and warehouse management workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to translate business processes into technical solutions
- Contribute to system design decisions and architecture discussions
- Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues to improve system reliability and performance
- Adapt to changing requirements, prioritize tasks effectively, and work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Python programming skills and production-level React experience
- Experience building and shipping production applications on AWS
- Knowledge of API design, integration patterns, and system interoperability
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and make pragmatic technical decisions
- Strong written communication skills for documenting decisions and collaborating asynchronously
- Availability for periodic travel (~1 week per quarter) for planning and stakeholder engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP, WMS, supply chain, or procurement systems
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, or recycling industries
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture or workflow orchestration
