FOH Server at 16 On Center – Chicago, Illinois

Position Summary

As a FOH Server at Pizza Friendly Pizza, you are the face of the guest experience from the moment someone walks in. In our counter-service environment, this role goes beyond taking orders. You help create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere while keeping the space clean, organized, and running smoothly throughout service.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, efficient, and approachable manner
• Take orders accurately and address guest questions or concerns as they arise
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room throughout service
• Clear, clean, and reset tables to keep the space presentable at all times
• Assist with dishwashing and support BOH in keeping the kitchen clean and organized
• Complete assigned side work and daily tasks to support smooth operations
• Reconcile cash drawers and prepare accurate end-of-shift deposits
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members
• Help foster a positive, respectful, and friendly environment for both guests and staff
• Support a consistent and enjoyable guest experience from start to finish

About You:

• 1+ year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• You’re available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• You’re a genuinely kind, positive person who enjoys being around people
• You take pride in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment
• You’re reliable, show up on time, and follow through on what you’re responsible for
• You’re a team player who communicates well and works respectfully with others
• You’re open to learning, taking feedback, and jumping in where needed
• You stay calm, flexible, and solutions-focused when things get busy
• You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep up in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Able to work with varying noise levels in a busy environment
