The Cost Manager (Procore Administrator) position is part of Cumming Group's Los Angeles Cost Management Department and will be based on-site with a local Los Angeles developer, responsible for monitoring and reporting project or program costs compared to budget or contract. The role involves understanding the master budget and funding to provide general program coordination, program-level reporting, and analytical reports for phases of project completion. In addition, the position serves as a Procore System Administrator for Cumming Group.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage Procore roll-out.
Oversee initial setup and configuration for new projects.
Customize modules and workflows.
Integrate Procore with other software systems.
Provide ongoing technical support.
Develop and conduct training sessions.
Create and maintain user guides and training materials.
Generate custom reports to track project progress.
Monitor system performance.
Troubleshoot issues.
Stay updated on Procore features.
Ensure data integrity and implement necessary changes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Develop and implement best practices.
Generate reports to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Manage user access and permissions.
Maintain system security.
Support client project managers.
Establish and maintain data coding structures and project control tools.
Coordinate financial information with Procore for reconciliation.
Track quality data for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends, and actual costs.
Assist with constructability review, value engineering, pay application reviews, schedule development, FF&E program development, and execution.
Conduct closeout activities on Procore.
Interact with client accounting and purchasing staff.
Coordinate client financial information with Procore for reconciliation of program controls data for monthly reporting purposes.
Gather and track quality data used for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends, and actual costs.
Routinely review pay applications, change orders, and contracts for accuracy and alignment with budget and board approval.
Close out financials for projects
Maintain management reporting data.
Ensure timely financial progress reporting.
Review project documents for accuracy.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Minimum of 1-2 years serving as a Procore Administrator.
Proven experience administering construction project management software.
Proficiency in using Procore construction management software.
Strong understanding of construction project workflows and documentation.
Excellent technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot software issues.
Experience with software integration and customization.
Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct effective training sessions and create instructional materials.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Education: BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
Experience: more than 3 years’ experience post-receiving undergraduate degree working in related field
Preferred Certification: Working towards Professional Certification – MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent.

The salary range for this full-time role is $95,000.00-$126,666.68 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package.
