About This Position
Position Summary:
Culinary Depot is seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Manager to oversee and lead our installation teams. This position plays a key role in ensuring that commercial kitchen and foodservice equipment installations are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. The Crew Manager will coordinate day-to-day field operations, allocate resources across job sites, and serve as a critical liaison between the field teams and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership & Training
Manage, direct, and motivate installation crews to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
Train and mentor crew members on installation techniques, safety practices, and company procedures.
Foster a positive and professional team environment, ensuring accountability and high performance.
Project Coordination & Scheduling
Plan and coordinate field installations in collaboration with project managers.
Schedule manpower and manage crew deployment across multiple job sites.
Anticipate project needs and proactively adjust plans to avoid delays.
Quality Assurance & Safety
Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure safety compliance and installation quality.
Enforce safety protocols and correct unsafe behaviors or conditions immediately.
Ensure that all work adheres to project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Resource Management
Maintain accurate daily reports on job progress, crew hours, and project milestones.
Track inventory of tools, equipment, and safety gear.
Identify and communicate material needs for ordering to prevent delays.
Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively to minimize disruption.
Serve as the point of contact for any field-related challenges or escalations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a supervisory or crew management role in construction or foodservice installation.
Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and manage project execution.
Strong understanding of safety standards and quality control processes.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and make informed decisions under pressure.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
