Maintenance Mechanic at KRISTY KUTS LLC – Thorofare, New Jersey

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform a variety of semi-skilled and/or skilled tasks in maintenance and repair of facility equipment. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic maintains the facility and equipment to a safe, high-efficiency, and quality level, contributing to the site’s overall strategic direction. He/she conducts preventative maintenance on equipment and ensures the proper stock of parts.

• Work safely and adhere to established safety principles and practices
• Maintain equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Production Equipment - conveyors, VFDs, PLCs, and 3-phase motors.
• PM’s – Basic Equipment
• Conveyors
• Belt Conditions
• Electrical connections
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment based on the PM program.
• Tasks assigned by manager based on abilities.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment
• Perform machinery repairs in a safe, efficient manner
• Other assignments as required, within job scope and abilities by the Maintenance Manager
• Perform repairs and PM’s and document to meet food safety standards for a food production facility.
