About This Position
The Director of Sales – Home Center/Retail is responsible for leadership of our current Home Center account portfolio with a primary focus on building long term revenue, profit, and business expansion. The Director must possess a teamwork mentality, as well as a strong sense of ownership and urgency that drives results. They must be comfortable with completing analysis, presenting recommendations, and making decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
The Director will work closely with our Product and Marketing teams in the US and Italy, and will need to facilitate effective internal and external communications and turn data into actionable insights in order to be successful. This position will own the customer relationship and will need to work directly across all areas including Merchandising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develops account strategy and executes a tactical plan to drive profitability.
- Builds relationships with customers for long term account sustainability.
- Analyzes POS, event results, and related metrics to evaluate and refine strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with global business, brand, and digital marketing teams to develop strategy and plans to support corporate and customer goals.
- Interfaces directly with accounts to achieve sales/margin/inventory objectives.
- Collaborates with Product Management to develop a robust PLR Roadmap
Sales and Account Management:
- Drives profitable growth; P&L responsibility along with supporting functions.
- Owns the customer relationship and its management.
- Negotiates all programs, promotions to deliver agreed account proformas.
- Develops and manages budget in coordination with global business teams.
- Creates regular sales reports in accordance with key performance indicators.
- Supports account initiatives: resets, logistics, and merchandising execution.
- Represents FNA at customer meetings and events.

- Big box account management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills within all levels of an organization
- Thorough understanding of sales forecasting, financial management, operations, merchandising/execution
- Excellent business management and developmental skills
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
