Position SummaryIndicon LLC is seeking a Helpdesk / Deskside Technician to provide hands‑on technical support to end users in a multi‑platform environment. This role is ideal for a customer‑focused IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with users, and supporting day‑to‑day technology operations in an office setting.
The position is full‑time and on‑site in Reading, PA and reports directly to the Helpdesk Manager.
Essential Job Functions- Provide technical support to end users across a multi‑platform environment
- Troubleshoot and support:
- Windows desktops and laptops
- Android and iOS mobile devices
- Perform printer installations and troubleshooting
- Support Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 products including:
- Outlook
- OneDrive
- Microsoft Teams
- Replace and upgrade laptop and desktop hardware
- Image and deploy new computers and devices
- Provide deskside and remote support to resolve daily user issues
- Document support requests, resolutions, and hardware activity as required
- Work collaboratively with other IT team members to resolve escalated issues
- 2–3 years of hands‑on experience providing end‑user technical support
- Experience supporting most of the following:
- Windows operating systems
- Mobile devices (Android and iOS)
- Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 environment
- Hardware troubleshooting and replacement
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work full‑time, on‑site in the Reading, PA office
- Strong desire to learn and grow technical skills
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Active Directory (user and group management)
- SQL (basic exposure)
- Print Servers
- Windows Server 2019–2022
- Network troubleshooting fundamentals
- File sharing and permissions
- Microsoft Intune
- BeyondTrust Remote Support
- CAD software troubleshooting
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to move between offices and workstations throughout the day
