Hours Per Week: Per Diem

Schedule: Per Diem, as needed. One weekend shift required per month

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Possess the ability to develop and facilitate Therapeutic Recreation programs independently and collaboratively with the department.

• Maintain documentation and adhere to treatment plans and goals in accordance with the standards of Therapeutic Recreation.

• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, family, and volunteers.

• Complete required education in a timely manner.

• Ensure the safety of residents. This includes adhering to standard facility protocol.

• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe Therapeutic Recreation space. Properly document the completion of required tasks, when necessary.

• Communicate with Therapeutic Recreation coworkers and the department manager to ensure programs meet resident needs.

EDUCATION:

• BS (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE: $16.00 - $16.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
