About This Position

POSITION OVERVIEW

A condominium association is seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance tech to support the Community Association Manager with daily upkeep of a residential community. This role ensures buildings, common areas, and grounds remain safe, clean, and well‑maintained. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and committed to excellent customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of buildings and grounds, including trash removal, debris pickup, blowing walkways, pressure washing, and general upkeep.

• Complete daily work orders and assist with routine maintenance tasks: painting, caulking, basic plumbing, AC filter replacement, light carpentry, and drywall patching.

• Conduct daily inspections of common areas; report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Stage dumpsters and recycling bins for weekly pickup; maintain trash rooms.

• Assist landscaping support including debris removal and backpack blower operation.

• Respond professionally to resident work orders and support vendor coordination.

• Assist with storm preparation, emergency response, and post‑event cleanup.

• Maintain equipment, tools, and cleaning chemicals properly and in compliance with OSHA standards.

• Perform additional tasks outside normal scope when assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of property maintenance or related experience.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.

• Strong attention to detail; able to assess and resolve maintenance issues quickly.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks.

• General computer literacy.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional when interacting with residents and staff.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

ATTENDANCE & EXPECTATIONS

• On‑call availability for emergencies.

• Maintain a respectful, positive attitude with owners and residents.

• Able to complete minor repairs and additional assignments as directed.



Monday to Friday - 10:00am to 6:00pm
