Position Summary
The Electrical Production Technician is responsible for accurate wiring and assembling of test fixture products, following and adhering to department procedures, process plans and all other related company policies and procedures.
This position reports to the Production Manager and according to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) is classified as non-exempt.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Reads and interprets manufacturing requirements, specifications, procedures, and statements of work
- Interprets schematics, wire lists and supplied specifications to perform required technical wiring
- Performs manual assembly operations such as crimping, soldering, and stripping wire and manual assembly of components and test equipment
- Conducts test operations utilizing Digital Multimeter, and power supplies to verify proper wiring fixtures
- Completes all electronic and hard copy required documentation prior to delivering test fixtures
- Records all deviations and modifications from original design
- Participates in continuous process improvements
- Maintains correct time reporting and accurate entries on manufacturing and inspection records.

Required
- Ability to maintain a full time schedule
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of electrical assembly related work experience) with precision and consistency
- General electrical aptitude and some working knowledge of electrical and electronic controls
- Ability to read and interpret electronic blueprints or part drawings to accurately place components
- Must be able to perform in a team environment with good interpersonal skills
- Must be committed to completing projects with the highest quality achievable under minimal supervision
- Thorough understanding and adherence to safety and ESD procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Preferred
- Associates degree in manufacturing related discipline or a 2-year technician or technologist program I related field
- IPC J-STD-001 and IPC A-620 certifications
- Ability to learn specialized machines and to interpret and/or manipulate 2D and 3D CAD drawings
- Experience in a mid- to high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.

Must maintain confidentiality and security of intellectual property (CUI-ITAR, Prototype)
Individual base pay is based on various factors, including work location, relevant experience and skills, the responsibility of the role, and job duties/requirements. For this role, the range of $25 - $28 is an hourly rate and the position is eligible for performance-based quarterly profit sharing.
Base pay is only one element of an employee's total compensation at Circuit Check. Employees (and their dependents in most plans) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, short- and long-term disability and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Employees are able to enroll in Circuit Check’s 401(k) plan, in which the Company will match 50% of your contributions up to 6% with a maximum contribution. Paid time off includes vacation and sick time along with 8 paid holidays.
