This role is a dynamic blend of customer service, insurance expertise, and inbound sales support within the personal lines or commercial lines space. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, helping them understand insurance coverages, policy changes, and available options tailored to their needs. The position involves high-volume customer interaction, requiring both responsiveness and precision in handling inquiries across multiple channels. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate policy fulfillment while also identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and support revenue growth. Working in a fast-paced, remote environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and insurance carriers. - Manage daily inbound calls (approximately 30–50 per day) related to personal lines or commercial lines insurance policies
- Educate customers and prospects on policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance needs in a clear and proactive manner
- Handle customer inquiries across phone, email, fax, and mail channels with speed, accuracy, and professionalism
- Support inbound sales and fulfillment activities while meeting service and performance targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and insurance carriers
- Research market conditions and apply insurance knowledge to provide relevant recommendations and solutions
- Navigate and adapt to multiple carrier rating systems and agency management platforms
- Maintain a paperless workflow and ensure accurate data entry and documentation
- Identify process improvements and contribute to increasing operational efficiency and revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve customer challenges and ensure high-quality service delivery
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3+ years of experience in personal lines insurance OR 2+ years in commercial lines insurance
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- Strong understanding of insurance coverages, policies, and industry guidelines across multiple states
- Experience using agency management systems and electronic document management tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong customer service orientation
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, and carrier websites
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently
- Reliable remote work setup, including required internet speed and wired Ethernet connection
