The General Manager will serve as the face of the restaurant, leading with integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of ownership. This individual will be responsible for building, developing, and holding a team accountable, while creating an environment that reflects the values and culture of Lupoli Companies.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how to balance floor presence with high-level operational and financial oversight, and who is committed to elevating the restaurant to its highest potential.

What You’ll Do

• Champion and consistently reinforce the culture, values, and standards of Lupoli Companies
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team through coaching, mentorship, and accountability
• Set clear expectations and ensure all team members understand and execute their roles effectively
• Establish a culture of integrity where standards are upheld at all times, with or without direct supervision
• Partner with the Assistant General Manager and leadership team to delegate effectively and develop future leaders
• Drive team engagement, morale, and a positive work environment
• Address performance issues promptly and professionally through structured coaching and discipline

Guest Experience
• Ensure exceptional hospitality and service standards are delivered at all times, in person, via phone, and through written communication
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests and ensuring service excellence
• Resolve guest concerns and conflicts with professionalism, urgency, and genuine care
• Build relationships with guests and foster loyalty within the local community
• Promote a culture where guest satisfaction and attention to detail are top priorities
• Encourage and support guest feedback, including positive online presence and reputation management
• Oversee reservations, large parties, and private events to ensure seamless execution

Operations Management
• Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to standards
• Maintain full compliance with Health Department, Fire Department, and Liquor License requirements
• Ensure the restaurant environment meets the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation
• Implement and enforce all company systems, policies, and procedures
• Work closely with the kitchen leadership, including Helena and the culinary team, to ensure alignment between front and back of house
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve performance
• Oversee inventory controls, ordering processes, and vendor relationships

Staffing & Scheduling
• Lead all recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts for front-of-house management and staff
• Develop scheduling strategies that align with business levels and financial goals
• Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained at all times
• Oversee performance management, including evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
• Build a strong leadership bench through ongoing development of managers and key staff

Administrative & Financial Responsibilities
• Take full ownership of the restaurant’s financial performance, including sales, labor, and cost controls
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to drive decision-making
• Manage labor costs through strategic scheduling and real-time adjustments
• Monitor key performance indicators, including revenue, labor percentage, guest satisfaction, and profitability
• Partner with accounting and corporate leadership to ensure accurate reporting and financial compliance
• Identify and execute opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, and drive profitability
• Oversee cash handling, gift card reconciliation, and financial procedures
