This position also supports the Juvenile Dependency Mediation Program (JDMP), which provides alternative dispute resolution services to children and families involved in active dependency cases to support safe and timely permanency outcomes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.

This position may require occasional evening and weekend work and statewide travel as needed.

This position can be located in Carson City or Las Vegas. After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Assist with the development and submission of grant applications consistent with federal direction and program outcomes.
  • High-level budget management ensuring funds are strategically allocated and tracked pursuant to program requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database or information management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel statewide and occasionally work evenings or weekends as required.
