In this high-impact executive role, you will lead the strategic orchestration of multi-year technology programmes that shape the future of a global investment landscape. Operating within the Strategy, Architecture, and Transformation division, you will bridge the gap between complex technology domains—including applications, data, infrastructure, and cyber security—and long-term business architecture. You will work in a high-performance, agile environment where innovation is encouraged and your decisions directly influence the target-state technology of one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds. This role offers an extraordinary network of industry leaders and the opportunity to build scalable enterprise data infrastructure at a global scale. Your leadership will be pivotal in delivering secure, integrated solutions that provide a competitive edge in a 24x7 global business. Join a team anchored in excellence, where you are empowered to push boundaries and pursue results-driven data products.

Accountabilities:
  • Programme Leadership & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of strategic, multi-year programmes, managing complex interdependencies across diverse technology workstreams to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.

  • Strategic Stakeholder Management: Identify and engage key stakeholders across the organization, establishing clear accountability and fostering a collaborative environment among diverse delivery teams to ensure successful execution.

  • Risk Management & Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks within the programme lifecycle and develop quantified mitigation strategies to address challenges before they impact delivery timelines.

  • Technical Governance: Facilitate regular steering committee meetings and alignment sessions, clearly articulating problem statements and trade-offs while ensuring all activities comply with architecture reviews, procurement (RFx), and internal funding processes.

  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Utilize advanced tools like Planview and Microsoft Project to manage detailed activity dependencies, leveraging JIRA integration to automate milestone tracking and dashboarding for executive visibility.

Requirements:
  • Extensive Leadership Experience: At least 8–10 years of relevant experience in programme management, specifically within large-scale, technology-driven environments managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are highly advantageous.

  • Technical Domain Expertise: A strong understanding of core technology concepts across applications, data infrastructure, and cyber security, with the ability to translate technical complexities into business architecture.

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Project for bottom-up activity management and Planview for dashboarding, alongside familiarity with JIRA for automated task status reporting.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with the communication skills required to influence stakeholders at the highest levels of the organization.

Benefits:
  • Competitive Compensation: A market-leading salary package commensurate with a Vice President-level role in the global financial sector.

  • Flexible Work Model: A "Flexibility at GIC" approach featuring 4 days in-person for ideation and connection, with the flexibility to choose work-from-home days based on situational needs.

  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans designed to support you and your family’s well-being.

  • Financial Future: Access to retirement savings plans and performance-based incentives tied to long-term investment success.

  • Global Exposure: Opportunity to work within an extraordinary network of industry leaders across 11 global offices and over 40 countries.

  • Professional Growth: A culture that values merit and excellence, providing a vibrant hub for ideation, boundary-pushing innovation, and continuous learning.
