This role provides the opportunity to deliver actionable insights and data-driven solutions that directly improve operational and clinical outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex healthcare data into clear, meaningful dashboards, reports, and analytical models. The position requires a mix of hands-on data analysis, dashboard development, and strategic problem-solving to support decision-making across programs serving children with complex medical needs. You will leverage SQL, Tableau, and modern data tools to extract, transform, and visualize large-scale data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, performance, and usability. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, offering exposure to innovative analytics projects that make a tangible impact. Success in this role helps improve patient care, optimize program performance, and strengthen business intelligence capabilities across the organization.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client reporting and business development questions, providing accurate and timely data insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau to support reporting for patient populations and emerging clinical programs
- Apply BI best practices to ensure dashboards are user-friendly, performant, and aligned with business objectives
- Build analytical models in dbt to support dashboards and downstream reporting
- Use SQL and other tools to process and analyze large datasets from claims, EHR, HIE, and programmatic sources
- Complete analytics requests and ad-hoc reports through task management platforms, providing clear updates and prioritization
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and internal data teams to enhance tools and capabilities that improve operational efficiency
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, preferably with commercial and business development exposure
- 3+ years of experience with Tableau, including advanced calculations, parameters, performance optimization, and interactivity
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake
- Experience building data models in dbt and version control using GitHub
- Ability to communicate findings effectively through data storytelling, connecting insights to business outcomes
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisions with limited information, and adapting to evolving priorities
- Familiarity with healthcare data sources (claims, EHR, HIE) is a strong plus
- Passion for improving care for children with complex medical needs and a collaborative mindset
