About the Role:
The Cutting Machine Operator - Lace plays a critical role in the production process by precisely operating specialized cutting machinery to shape and prepare lace materials for further manufacturing stages. This position ensures that lace fabrics are cut accurately according to design specifications, maintaining high standards of quality and minimizing material waste. The operator collaborates closely with quality control and production teams to meet daily production targets while adhering to safety protocols. Attention to detail and consistency are paramount, as the finished lace pieces directly impact the aesthetic and functional quality of the final product. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating cutting machines or similar industrial equipment, preferably in textile or lace manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of fabric types and cutting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or cutting patterns.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience specifically with lace or delicate fabric cutting.
- Familiarity with computerized cutting machines and software.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibrate cutting machines according to lace design specifications and production requirements.
- Operate cutting machinery to accurately cut lace fabrics, ensuring precision and minimal material waste.
- Inspect lace materials before and after cutting to identify defects or inconsistencies and report any quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and quality control teams to meet daily output goals and maintain product standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document production data, including quantities cut, machine settings, and any incidents or deviations.
