Qualifications:- 3+ years of experience repairing processing equipment in a distribution center or industrial environment (applicable military experience strongly considered)
- 2+ years of experience managing or supervising a team
- Experience operating and/or maintaining equipment such as conveyors, air compressors, HVAC systems (including swamp coolers), heat seal machines, and industrial sewing machines
- Experience managing budgets, planning maintenance activities, supervising vendors/contractors, and using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Proficient in the use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical wiring diagrams, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
- High school diploma or GED required
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and installation of industrial equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in automated, PLC-driven equipment, requiring knowledge of electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, welding, and HVAC
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining timely response to maintenance requests
- Oversee parts and labor budgets, prepare maintenance reports, and manage external service providers
- Conduct training and maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment with strong ownership and accountability
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve maintenance processes and overall plant performance
- Occasionally work off-shift hours or weekends to support special projects or major repairs
