About This Position
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead sales growth within your assigned region by strengthening our dealer network and developing new business opportunities. This role is about partnership- serving as a trusted advisor to dealers by providing product expertise, training, and strategic guidance to help them grow their business while advancing CVG’s commitment to operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute a strategic regional sales plan aligned with CVG’s growth objectives.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealer partners who reflect our values and standards.
• Strengthen long-term relationships with existing dealers and key accounts.
• Deliver engaging product and sales training that equips dealer teams for success.
• Collaborate with dealers on annual sales planning and rolling forecasts.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity and provide timely reporting and communication.
• Travel throughout your region and attend national events to support growth initiatives.
• Represent Columbia Vehicle Group with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience selling capital equipment or retail vehicles through an independent dealer network.
• Proven success in territory or regional sales management.
• Experience training and developing dealer sales teams.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and activity reporting.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
