The role is responsible for the performance of the Accounts, Audit, Taxation, Internal Control & Compliances and costing function. This role is responsible for managing health of Companys balance sheet and establishing accounting guidelines and processes.

Responsibilities

Establish accounting principles and provide oversight to all accounting activities of the company at global level
Drive development and implementation of all accounting policies & procedures in compliance with Indian accounting standards
Maintain efficient financial information systems in the organization to enable senior management to take appropriate and timely actions
Ensure timely and accurate financial disclosures to be made by the Company
Manage statutory, tax and internal audit interface effectively
Establish robust internal controls and compliances leading to accurate financial reporting
Play the controllership role and monitor and maintain the balance sheets health of the company
Manage corporate taxation and ensure compliance with allied laws so that organizations tax obligations are accurately reported and complied with
Analyse and interpret domestic and international tax guidelines and their business implications and suggest steps to minimize organizations tax liability
Ensure robust costing systems are implemented and refined periodically

Must Have's

Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
2-5 years of work experience in financial reporting, compliance, and audit support, with experience in Big4 firms and B2B start-ups.
