Accounts Payable (AP) Manager at INNOVATIVE AEROSYSTEMS – EXTON, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our AP operations and ensure timely, accurate payment processing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing AP teams, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day AP operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor communications
• Supervise and mentor AP staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies
• Review, approve, process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger accounts and assist with month-end close
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of AP metrics and cash requirements
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve payment inquiries or issues
• Enforce compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement AP best practices
• Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and finance teams on cross-functional initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of AP experience, including supervisory/management experience
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite required (or similar ERP)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and AP accounting processes
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools

• Experience implementing process improvements or AP automation
