Job Overview

Trident Dock & Dredge Inc is seeking two experienced Marine Construction Project Managers to oversee and deliver residential and commercial marine construction projects. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, crews, subcontractors, and project execution from planning through completion. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent attention to detail, a hands-on mindset, leads by example, and has the ability to coordinate complex marine projects while maintaining safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute marine construction projects ahead of schedule and under budget

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans

  • Coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure timely execution

  • Oversee daily field operations, ensuring work meets plans, specifications, and quality standards

  • Monitor project costs and performance, addressing issues proactively

  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and project requirements

  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and internal stakeholders

  • Review project documentation, change orders, and progress reports

  • Support continuous improvement and team development within project crews

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management (marine, landscape/hardscape, or heavy civil preferred)

  • Associate degree preferred (or equivalent construction management experience)

  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and professional integrity

  • No specific licenses or certifications required

  • Class A Commercial Drivers License is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $75,000 $90,000 this is a base salary, plus annual performance bonuses structure
