Job Overview

Salary/Pay Rate: $140,000 - 160,000 per year plus Quarterly Performance and Year-End Bonuses.
Location: Morgan Hill, California.
Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday and Weekends.
Project Scope: Commercial and Industrial HVAC-R.
Mandatory Licences & Certifications: None Required.
The Opportunity You will serve as the operational anchor for a premier commercial HVAC-R provider, managing a high-performing market valued between $5M and $8M. This role grants you the autonomy to direct a crew of up to 16 technicians while driving high-level service execution and market maturity. You will be a pivotal leader in a technician-led company that prioritizes quality, growth, and the professional development of its people.
How You Will Make an Impact
Direct full-scale market operations including service, complex repairs, and full equipment replacements.
Supervise and mentor a team of up to 16 technicians to ensure peak performance and technical excellence.
Execute detailed job walkthroughs and quality audits to maintain superior workmanship standards.
Coordinate the quoting and closing of work orders to ensure project profitability and timelines.
Facilitate real-time technical support for field staff to resolve complex mechanical obstacles.
Strengthen customer relationships through professional service recovery and consistent communication.
Administer strict safety protocols across all job sites to protect the team and client assets.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the HVAC or Mechanical industry.
Proven track record of managing large field crews and multi-million dollar service markets.
Expertise in quoting, job costing, and overseeing the full lifecycle of a service order.
Demonstrated ability to perform technical walkthroughs and rigorous quality control audits.
Strong commitment to safety leadership and operational excellence.
Experience managing work orders from end to end.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Advanced technical proficiency in commercial and industrial HVAC-R systems.
Prior experience in a "hands-on" leadership role within a rapidly growing organization.
Completion of specialized mechanical trade certifications or formal mentorship programs.
Ability to balance high-level operational strategy with direct customer service interaction.
