About the role

Marioff is taking the next leap and returning to its original roots – becoming an independent organization. We are now building a new Marioff and expanding Marioff IT - Marioff Digital Team (DT). This is why Marioff is now hiring IT Infrastructures Lead to join it in our Vantaa head office. In this role, you will enable versatile and efficient development but also cost efficient and agile continuity services. Your work is based on cooperation with key stakeholders covering people, processes, data and technologies. Marioff infrastructure issues have also vital role with external stakeholders.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team driving Marioff’s journey to be more secure and efficient with business-driven IT and services — supporting both Marine and Land businesses worldwide.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Provide strategic guidance and oversight for the Marioff Group wide IT infrastructures:
  • on-premise and cloud based servers
  • enterprise networks
  • infrastructure architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, security.
• Collaborate with key teams to integrate infrastructure practices into daily business operations.
• Define, maintain and deploy Marioff development roadmap for IT infrastructures.
• Responsible for the overall operational and development budget for IT infrastructures.
• Evaluate, select and manage service and technology partners for infrastructure solutions.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's enterprise network, AD, hosting and other critical infrastructure
• Ensure network availability, performance, and resilience while minimizing security risks.
• Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and trends to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to investigate and resolve incidents.
• Design, implement, and maintain software components for Marioff’s digital and cloud platforms, interfaces, APIs, and integrations between HI-FOG systems, IoT devices, and cloud infrastructure.
• Work closely with product management, hardware, and system engineers to deliver digital features that enhance system performance and customer experience.
• Participate in architectural and technical design discussions, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop applications for limited connectivity environments, often deployed on Edge-devices and developed with Python.
• Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of Marioff’s digital products and development processes.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing servers, enterprise network and infrastructure operations.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience of servers and network architecture principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure management and best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure technologies such as AD/Entra ID, network hardware, firewall, certificates, SSO, Domain management and performance monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work on-site at Marioff office at least part of the week, willingness to occasionally travel inside and outside Finland.
• Interpersonal skills with multicultural teamwork attitude, customer-driven mindset
