About This Position

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic behavioral health Admissions Coordinator to join our team. Admissions Coordinators are responsible for assisting the Director of Admissions in maintaining 100% occupancy of all Modern Recovery Network facilities. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing and carrying out all the duties associated with the admission process and helping with the admission process for transfers from facility to facility.


Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the admissions department Census goal and admission numbers by week/month. Understand and adhere to department and company KPIs and goals.
  • Create and maintain treatment reports on all admissions and inquiries using the tools directed by the Director of Admissions.
  • Serve as a resource to Treatment Consultants, referral partners, and clients on admission matters and financial matters as it relates to getting the client admitted and the client’s financial obligation for treatment.
  • Follow up with Alumni, past inquiries, and any other source pertaining to admissions.
  • Report quality leads and any opportunities to improve admissions goals to management.
  • Adhere to HIPAA.
  • Complete our Prescreen process effectively and efficiently.
  • Answer phones and be able to document and work effectively in our CRM and EMR
  • Ensure VOB has been completed, and OOP has been collected prior to admission. Validate cash and insurance prior to admission.
  • Schedule initial transportation for clients attending our programs.
  • Present programs in detail to family members and potential clients. Remove all “admission barriers” on the front end.
  • Communicate any client needs with the appropriate departments; clinical, UR, Case management, client advocacy, etc.
  • Obtain the verification of benefits and relay information to the family and or client accurately. Stay current on types of insurance that works for the facility.
  • Schedule and ensure an assessment are coordinated for the admission.
  • Identify medical and or psychiatric emergent need on the front end of admission and notify appropriate team members and address the need prior to admission.
  • Enter appropriate documentation notes as needed.
  • Follow detailed processes and procedures as set forth by department managers to ensure a safe and accurate admission.
  • Have knowledge on all programs offered at each facility. Stay current on all changes regarding programs and services offered at each facility.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check if required.
  • Skilled in sales.
  • Basic computer skills, word processing, excel, outlook, etc.
  • Demonstration of ability to take charge and make decisions appropriate to the situation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000 per year
