Accountabilities:

  • Support legal review of new products, product updates, and technical initiatives across digital platforms.
  • Draft, review, and maintain user-facing terms, privacy policies, disclosures, FAQs, and internal legal guidance.
  • Advise on product-related legal areas including privacy, data protection, consumer protection, intellectual property, accessibility, and online safety.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively identify legal risks and develop practical, mission-aligned solutions.

  • Support risk assessment and prioritization of legal issues in a fast-moving product environment.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree with admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
  • 2–5 years of experience in legal counseling for technology products, digital platforms, or online services.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and legal implications in software or digital environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and translate them into practical guidance for technical teams.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and comfort working with ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional, and multicultural settings.
  • Strong ethical standards and alignment with public interest or mission-driven work.
  • Familiarity with privacy law, intellectual property, and digital policy frameworks.
  • Bonus: experience with open source, digital rights, policy work, or technical/engineering background.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work model with global flexibility.
  • Opportunity to work on globally impactful, mission-driven digital projects.
  • Competitive compensation adjusted to location and experience.
  • Inclusive and diverse international work environment.
  • Strong focus on work-life balance and employee well-being.
