This is a high-impact, early-stage sales leadership opportunity within a rapidly scaling SaaS company transforming financial and commission operations in the insurance industry. You will own full-cycle enterprise sales in a fast-moving environment where autonomy, ownership, and execution directly influence company growth. Working closely with founding leadership, you will help define the go-to-market motion, refine sales strategy, and build scalable revenue foundations. The role blends strategic account planning with hands-on selling across complex, high-value deals. You will engage directly with senior decision-makers in insurance organizations, driving transformation through automation solutions. This is a highly entrepreneurial position for a proven closer who thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape a category-defining business from the ground up.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and shaping the early sales engine of a fast-growing SaaS organization. You will manage the entire sales lifecycle while contributing to broader go-to-market strategy and customer insights.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing six- and seven-figure enterprise deals
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies across a defined portfolio of high-value accounts
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders through in-person meetings, events, and industry conferences
- Generate pipeline through self-sourced leads, strategic outreach, and partnership development
- Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to strengthen pipeline generation and conversion
- Represent the company at industry events and identify new growth and partnership opportunities
- Gather and relay customer feedback to inform product direction and positioning
This role requires a highly experienced, self-driven sales professional with a strong track record in B2B SaaS environments and complex enterprise deal cycles. You should be comfortable operating independently in a high-growth startup setting.
- 5–10 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in enterprise or upper mid-market segments
- Proven success in at least two startup environments with consistent quota achievement
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to independently generate and close new business
- Excellent relationship-building skills with experience in in-person selling and executive engagement
- Experience selling into insurance, financial services, or similarly traditional industries is a strong advantage
- High level of autonomy, resilience, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competitive base salary of $100,000–$150,000
- On-target earnings (OTE) of $300,000–$350,000
