This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Finance Operations and Treasury Manager in Germany.

This role is a key financial leadership position within a fast-growing fintech environment, responsible for overseeing complex, multi-asset treasury operations across fiat, crypto, and digital assets. You will play a critical role in ensuring liquidity, financial stability, and operational efficiency across global payment flows. Acting as the central owner of treasury and finance operations, you will design scalable processes, strengthen financial controls, and support regulatory compliance in a highly dynamic and evolving industry. The role combines hands-on execution with strategic ownership, requiring close collaboration with product, engineering, compliance, and external financial partners. You will manage end-to-end payment and reconciliation flows while optimizing risk, cost, and performance. This is an opportunity to build foundational financial infrastructure in a cutting-edge, high-growth startup environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and manage end-to-end treasury operations across fiat, crypto, and digital assets, including liquidity, settlement, custody, and conversion flows
  • Oversee payment operations including PSP integrations, merchant acquiring, payouts, chargebacks, and dispute resolution processes
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation across wallets, exchanges, PSPs, and internal systems, aligning with general ledger reporting
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, FX exposure, and liquidity planning across multiple asset classes
  • Execute crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto conversion strategies while optimizing costs, timing, and settlement efficiency
  • Design and enforce treasury policies, including controls, transaction limits, wallet structures, and risk management frameworks
  • Maintain accurate accounting treatment and valuation of digital assets, including skin inventory and user balances
  • Support month-end close processes, financial reporting, and audit readiness documentation
  • Monitor on-chain transactions and support KYC/AML compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Build and improve automation tools, dashboards, and reporting systems in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Manage relationships with banks, PSPs, custodians, exchanges, and compliance vendors
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in finance operations, treasury, payments operations, or similar roles within fintech, payments, crypto, or gambling industries
  • Strong knowledge of financial operations in the gambling or gaming industry is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA/CIMA/ACA is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with payment processors, PSP integrations, chargebacks, and merchant acquiring systems
  • Strong experience in crypto operations, including custody, on-chain monitoring, wallets, and fiat-crypto conversions
  • Solid understanding of banking operations, account management, and cross-border payment systems
  • Strong accounting and reconciliation expertise, including GL mapping and month-end close processes
  • Experience with KYC/AML frameworks, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards (IFRS preferred)
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and financial systems
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments with strong ownership mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
  • Fluency in English and either Ukrainian or Russian; ability to work within CET/EET time zones
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience
  • Fully remote working model with flexible hours within CET time zone
  • 19 business days of flexible paid time off
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, innovative fintech environment
  • Access to conferences, industry events, and professional development opportunities
  • Supportive, values-driven and collaborative team culture
  • Matrix organizational structure enabling efficient collaboration and reduced friction
  • Opportunities to build and shape foundational financial infrastructure in a high-growth company
