Responsibilities
Shift: 3rd - Sunday through early Friday morning - may require 1st Shift training
Starting Pay: $25.49/hr
Pay Grade: HR006

Now hiring at our Murrysville, PA Manufacturing plant for a General Assembler I. In this role, you will be counted on for the following tasks:
Assembly
- Read and follow drawings and OMS.
- Assembles and tests SCBA hoses, various kits, and other miscellaneous parts.
- Set-up and use machines, sonic bonder, torque wrenches, power screw drivers, and various other hand tools.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Visually inspects and performs minor repairs and rework.
Information and Data Search & Entry
- Find and read drawings, OMS and other documents in SAP and on the G drive.
- Enter data into SAP
- Complete productivity sheets.
- Order material from the storeroom.
- Complete and maintain relevant paperwork by sorting, filing, and organizing.
- Completes reports and other departmental paperwork as assigned.
Material Movement
- Prepare and/or package material for shipment.
- Moves completed parts and materials to appropriate work areas.
Communication
- Confer or correspond with establishment representative to rectify problems, such as quality issues, rework, shortages, or non-conformance to specifications.
- Communicate with SCBA line to ensure the line is supplied with the hoses and kits necessary for production, vendor, internal , and all other drivers.
- Communicate with peers and other internal customers.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 months past manufacturing related experience.
- Ability to:
- read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
- understand standard units of measure.
- set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
- sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- operate simple machines.
- sit, stand, reach, bend, sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- use power and hand tools.
- effectively communicate with various levels within the organization.
