About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY
The Group Product Manager – Ecommerce Experience owns the end-to-end Ecommerce product portfolio, covering digital selling experiences from customer entry points through checkout, payment, order management, and fulfillment. This role leads a team of Product Managers and UX Designers to deliver scalable, performant, and conversion-focused Ecommerce capabilities that support global business growth.

This position has supervisory responsibilities. The Group Product Manager directly manages and develops Product Managers, UX Designers, Contractors.
Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Vision, Strategy & Roadmap
• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Ecommerce portfolio, aligned with company objectives and leadership priorities.
• Establish and enforce strong product management practices, including discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, and delivery governance.
• Balance roadmap initiatives with run-the-business work, ensuring platform stability while driving continuous improvement.
• Drive data-informed decision-making using metrics, customer insights, experimentation, and post-launch measurement.
• Represent the Ecommerce portfolio in cross-functional planning, prioritization, and executive reviews.
• Ensure dependencies, risks, and trade-offs are identified early and communicated clearly.
Ecommerce-Specific Focus Areas
• Own all customer-facing selling experiences, including product catalog, promotions, checkout, payments, and order flows.
• Partner with Fulfillment, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure seamless order processing, shipping, and post-purchase experiences.
• Optimize for Ecommerce KPI’s such as conversion rate, average order value (AOV), checkout success rate, and cart abandonment.
• Drive scalability and readiness for global markets, including localization, currencies, tax, shipping, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on launches, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
• Ensure Ecommerce platforms integrate cleanly with CRM, ERP, commissions, and downstream operational systems.
• Champion customer experience, performance, reliability, and fraud prevention throughout the commerce lifecycle.
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Partner closely with Engineering, UX, QA, Data, Operations, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-quality product outcomes.
• Serve as the primary Ecommerce product voice in cross-functional planning, release cycles, and executive forums.
• Align with Finance, Legal, and Compliance on regulatory and operational requirements.
• Release Planning & Execution Ownership
• Own release planning and coordination for all Ecommerce work streams.
• Partner with Engineering and QA to prioritize work within each release, and ensure work is properly scoped, sequenced, and delivery-ready.
• Make trade-off decisions during the development cycle when scope changes or rush requests arise.
• Balance roadmap commitments with urgent run of business or revenue-critical work.
• Ensuring dependencies, risks, and constraints are surfaced early and communicated clearly to all stakeholders.
Business Communication & Release Readiness
• Own Ecommerce-related release communications to the business.
• Draft and publish release notes outlining what is being released, expected impact, and timing and rollout details.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on launch readiness, promotions, and go-live expectations.
• Serve as the primary Ecommerce product voice during release planning and execution.
• People Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop team members with a strong emphasis on ownership, accountability, and delivery of business outcomes—not just activity or output.
• Establish clear expectations, success metrics, and performance standards for direct reports; hold individuals accountable for roadmap commitments, decision quality, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide direct, timely, and constructive feedback; actively address performance gaps and take decisive action to ensure consistent product quality and execution rigor across the portfolio.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and professional growth while maintaining high standards for execution, judgment, and results.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years managing a team of Product Managers and/or UX Designers.
• Ecommerce Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Ecommerce platforms, checkout flows, payment systems, order management, and fulfillment operations.
• Global Commerce: Experience with multi-market, multi-currency, and localization requirements in Ecommerce environments.
• Data-Driven Approach: Demonstrated ability to define KPI’s, measure outcomes, and use data and experimentation to drive product decisions.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence across Engineering, UX, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
• Systems Integration: Understanding of Ecommerce integrations with CRM, ERP, and commissions or downstream operational systems.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present product strategy and release updates clearly to all levels of the organization.
• Tools: Proficiency with product management and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Familiarity with analytics and A/B testing platforms is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
LifeWave will operate as an in-office organization, and all employees are required to work onsite in alignment with corporate policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer workstation and be mobile within the office. Occasional movement of up to 25 pounds may be required.
