This is a senior field-based leadership role focused on shaping and executing thought leader engagement strategies within a highly specialized immunology portfolio. You will act as a key connector between internal brand teams and external medical experts, driving peer-to-peer education and scientific exchange across dermatology, allergy, and rheumatology communities. The role blends strategic planning, scientific communication, and hands-on field execution, with significant responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders. You will contribute directly to congress strategy, educational programming, and brand development initiatives while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. Operating in a fast-paced, launch-oriented environment, this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to translate insights into impactful engagement strategies. It is a highly visible role that influences both field execution and broader brand success.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead identification, development, and ongoing engagement of 30–40 thought leaders across dermatology, allergy, and rheumatology specialties
  • Manage regular coaching, mentoring, and evaluation of key opinion leaders and faculty within the assigned region
  • Oversee speaker development, training, and compliance readiness for peer-to-peer educational and promotional programs
  • Partner with internal brand, medical, compliance, and external vendors to design and execute thought leader and congress strategies
  • Support and attend regional and national congresses, identifying opportunities to strengthen brand positioning and engagement
  • Collect and synthesize field insights to inform brand strategy, messaging, and customer engagement planning
  • Contribute to development of educational content, peer-to-peer initiatives, and congress programming
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to support field training, engagement planning, and compliant execution of initiatives
  • Ensure operational excellence in speaker management, contracting, compliance tracking, and engagement logistics
  • Provide input into market dynamics, competitor activity, and evolving scientific trends to inform strategy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or business strongly preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, ideally within immunology or specialty therapeutics
  • Prior experience working in thought leader engagement, medical affairs, marketing, or field-based liaison roles
  • Strong understanding of immunology-related therapeutic areas such as dermatology, allergy, or rheumatology
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific information for diverse audiences
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging external experts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-based environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management capabilities
  • Experience working within highly regulated environments and adhering to compliance requirements
  • Ability to travel 30–50% domestically, including evenings and weekends

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $154,500 – $248,600 annually, based on experience and location
  • Eligibility for annual performance-based bonus
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Retirement benefits including 401(k) and pension eligibility
  • Paid time off, holidays, and leave programs including parental leave
  • Flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care
  • Life insurance, disability coverage, and employee assistance programs
  • Wellness programs, fitness benefits, and employee resource groups
  • Travel support and field-based work flexibility depending on region.
